Jané, proud to collaborate with Unicef to reduce child mortality

After the success of the alliance with Unicef, Jané has renewed its commitment to child survival rates for the fourth consecutive year, once again supporting the projects to combat malaria in the Democratic Republic of Congo which unfortunately is still the biggest cause of child mortality in the country and which still counts for 7% of children’s deaths under the age of 5 on a world wide scale.

New regulation i-Size

A committee of experts designated by the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) was given the task of adapting Standard 44 for child safety seats to the new advances made in safety issues as well as making the seats completely compatible with cars.

Jane and Unicef, one year of alliance against malaria.

Malaria kills a child every 40 seconds, and is one of the leading causes of child mortality. That’s why Jané has been supporting this Unicef initiative for a year now, in line with our mission to create a safer world for children. The UNICEF campaign consists of providing help by supplying mosquito nets treated with long-lasting insecticide, a highly effective remedy that can reduce child remedy by up to nearly 20%.

Delta Awards: 50 years with Design 1960-2010

2010 EuroTest, EXO from Jané obtained 4 STARS

 

Every year the associations of the EuroTest Consortium examine different Child Restraint Systems available on the market. 

 

The safety of the seat is assessed in this study, along with other aspects such as ease of use, comfort and installation ease. 

 

The safety tests are much more demanding than those required by European regulations, at greater speed and with different configurations, such as side impact.
